Storing Balls in Loading Zone

I have always considered storing balls in your own alliances starting zone a good strategy in many cases,
I cannot find any rule In the rule book preventing a team from capturing these points before the 30 second mark.
This thread makes it clear that the opposing alliance would not be allowed to retrieve these points in the elevation zone, but where is it in the manual?
This is the only thing I can find regarding this and it is only applies in the last 30 seconds.

Thanks

Look at rule SG7:
<SG7> Robots may not enter the opposing Alliance’s Loading Zone at any time during the Match. Minor violations of this rule that do not affect the match will result in a warning. Egregious (match affecting) offenses will result in a Disqualification. Teams that receive multiple warnings may also receive a Disqualification at the head referee’s discretion.

This rule seems to suggest to me that it is legal to enter the part of the climbing zone that is not the loading zone (inside the tape rectangle but outside of the tape triangle)

Cool thanks.

In that case, is it allowed to push an opposing team’s robot if they are partially in the loading triangle and partially outside of it?

No. This was clarified in the Q&A earlier in the season as indirect contact.

As for the strategy, it might be good with a 8 motor drive, 2 motor intake and 2 motor launcher to shoot into your spawn for your team mate but it might not work.

If done right, you could even make a turret and just plow into the balls while automatically shooting them back into it zone

If you could get a turret like that, why not just shoot the balls into your net?

Shooting into your corner requires less accuracy. But you do make a very valid point. If you could make that kinda bot, you could make a normal one that’ll just score quickly.

Sounds very familiar to a bot that I know of
