i wanted to ask whether string is allowed on the vex robot. If so, how much if there is a limit. I was thinking for it to be a substitute of the chain in the elevator lift we were building.

Since the rules haven’t changed in relation to string since last year it is assumed that they carry over to this year. Obviously if you do any of the weird things from thread I would suggest asking specifically again
