Struggling with shooting all three disks the same distance in our catapult, can someone explain the mechanics behind shooting them all with the same trajectory?

Is our issue related to the leverage on the catapult, the bucket itself, or maybe not having enough tension? Any ideas and criticism are welcome.

Your issue could be any number of things, it’s impossible to say without more information. A good way to troubleshoot your launch trajectory is to take a slow motion video of it firing.

agreed with xenon. the amount of variables we had to figure out was crazy with our cata, (amount of rubber bands, launch angle/hardstop placement, friction of bucket on discs, elasticity of rubber bands, where to put rubber bands, teeth on slip gear… etc etc) We did exactly what xenon said as well, slow mo video and diagnosed problems one by one. it just takes a lot of tuning, tbh a surprising amount.
