Stumped on making vision sensor work with autonomous

I don’t want to make an autonomous with the vision sensor. (It’s hard, the team needs the sensor to impress judges in states, I have to stick with it) I don’t want to use one only because the 4-bar robot can’t grab rings, And I don’t want multiple colors of red/blue/yellow goals to confuse the robot. (which is almost impossible to fix but whatever) I was thinking of not using the sensor in the first place, but as I said, I need to impress the judges for a chance of getting an excellence award. I need help, as I am stumped. Thanks.

A good working autonomous without a vision sensor will impress judges more than a bad autonomous with a vision sensor.

How far have you gotten? Try watching some videos on using the vision sensor.

The judges will be impressed by your reasoning out of why you wouldn’t use the vision sensor more than if you would. If your team’s only arguement is to impress the judges, any consistent program that can be clearly explained by you would do better.

Thanks guys, but we concluded on not using the sensor. I just made a 80 point autonomous without the sensor. :]

Could you give some insight of what sensors or code you used? Thanks

^^^. Also what programming language are you using (PROS, Vexcode Pro, etc.)
