I was at an IQ competition to help out last season and I saw a guy try to catch another robot which was NOT going to fall off the arena thing and his robot fell of his lap during the process and broke 
The silliest thing I’ve ever done in vex is spill a tub of parts all over the floor, I was still finding pieces on the ground weeks later
(I don’t like the word stupid, I think it’s kinda mean)

This wasn’t us, but another team we saw in an IQ tournament forgot their controller, and couldn’t get another one paired wirelessly, so they just drove the whole tournament with their controller tethered to their robot. This was during ringmaster, so they had to keep lifting it over the posts, too. In one match, their partner drove into the tether cord and unplugged it.

last year, we forgot to swap our license plates on VRC until 2 minutes before the match started.

Only 2 minutes? Try forgetting to, and then the refs giving us a warning since they thought an alliance was pinning itself in the middle of a match.

If you only knocked over your stack only once in TT, consider yourself lucky.

As a tower bot, I never knocked over more than one cube at a time. Maybe happened 3-4 in the season.
If you spend most of your time doing towers you will probably knock over fewer stacks.

Last year my team wanted me and only me to build, a very boring Christmas break. I shouldn’t have even done it cause as soon as we got 5th place, guess who got blamed.
