Anyone have a handy source for a similarly-sized pipe that lays across the field? We’re looking for a practice element at this point in the season, not the full field. It doesn’t seem to be a common size here in the U.S.—Not really interested in ordering from overseas and waiting for the slow boat. Thanks!
personally, i would use a pvc pipe, but i’m not sure on sizing off the top of my head.
It you look at the field specs (page A14 in the v0.1 game manual), it gives dimensions.
The top of the pipe should be around 2.88" above the tiles and the bottom of the pipe should be around 0.50".
A little bit of subtraction gives us a pipe diameter of 2.38". This is the outside diameter of standard 2" Schedule-40 PVC pipe from your local store.
You just need to figure out how to support it 1/2" above the tiles.
The barrier is a 2” Schedule 40 PVC pipe that you should be able to buy from Lowes or Home Depot.

That makes it way simpler than I was imagining. We were looking for a 2.75" pipe (which doesn’t exist), with a 1/16 lift. Thanks!
