We are in the slow process of building the traditional 4-bar - ring intake - back lift/clamp bot. Our problem is that our drivebase is large and we need the back clamp to tilt the goal so that the ring intake does not need to extend out of spec. None of the ideas that we came up with for a rear lift are really applicable, so we need a goal tilting clamp. And we need to do this with one motor. Any tips?
If you need a picture of the space in which we will attach it, please let me now.
A picture would be really helpful as I’m not quite sure what you’re working with.
Alright. The pictures I have are limited, but this is what we have viewed from the front. In the back is where we need it.
If you need a better one I will take it tomorrow.
Ignore those three bars and the motor. That was an epic fail.
And the two long ones are a 4-bar in early stages of construction.
Here’s a photo of my robot from a few months ago. the standoff on the bottom will get bent after a few days/weeks of using it, but it tilts really well. motor is a red cartridge geared 7:1

I would just add a forklift to tilt the mobile goal in the back. If you want a clamp you could probably make some sort of mechanism to only be in the released start when it is in the down position.
