Wow! that discussion is like 5 pages big (or long? =0)
9 pages, actually. (Spam is making it slowly grow to even more… :()
But yes everyone’s talking about the robot, mainly because of it’s somewhat unique approach to the game. Although many have thought of this strategy only very few have tried and even fewer been able to succeed as much as Green Egg Robotics has. They definitely have some room for improvement so I doubt they’ll show up at the World Championship with the same robot unless it has some or all of those improvements.

How do they handle goals placed in corners, wall goals, or goals already scored on?
They can descore the Bases as well as the Wall Goals, though at the VMAC they could not score on the Wall Goals. From what I remember I saw them grab a Base that was in the corner and pull it out using their scoring/descoring mechanism and then scoring on it and picking it up from there.

Some surprises are going to come out of NZ. Just ask Eagle Engineering. Have seen a team load bases in Autonomous.
