The “left wheel,” which is powered by the left motor and plugged into port 6 on the brain, isn’t turning at all. It was turning a couple days ago. We are running the default code for the Swish motors provided by VEX. We are using the generation 2 brain.
It turns out my students had the motor plugged into the wrong port.
I think the issue has been resolved.
Try swapping out the cable motor and port
Make sure that the cable is plugged in all the way. If it is, try replacing the motor. This problem happened to me once, and I replaced the motor. That solved the problem.
Hello, my competition team had the same problem, first make sure all of the instructions are the same on the robot including connected wires into certain port. Then instead having separate motors put it as a 2 wheel-drivetrain in the coding, Privately Message me for more information on coding and building with the “Swish” VEX IQ RC Robot!
We swapped the cable and this resolved our issue.
We also discovered that the motor won’t turn if the brain battery is too low.
Okay, yes make sure when you go to competition to take a few spare batteries just in case!
