Swish part list

Is there a list available somewhere of all the parts used in the VIQC Hero Bot Swish, without going step by step and creating my own? We only have Gen 1 full kits with a bunch of additional parts purchased. I am just trying to find an easy way to see if we have all the parts needed to build Swish.

Id recommend trouble shooting through parts you dont have.

purchase the 1st → 2nd generation upgrade kit.

I think that is their plan.

  1. Get a list of all the parts needed by Swish ← They are here
  2. See what parts they don’t have.
  3. Trouble shooting parts they don’t have ← You are here

So a list would make it easier. Hopefully they will publish what they find out. I get the impression they are a mentor/teacher and want to have all the parts before they get started building

I thought that the whole point of Swish and herobots as a whole was that all they needed was in the gen 1 or 2 kits?
Anything more and Bailey would say in the video

Thank you for the info, now I can purchase what I don’t have and let the students troubleshoot for the rest.

Big issue is the 3x beams. You’ll need to help them along with using 4x or some combo of 2x and 1x. Good luck with your season!

Where do I buy more of these?

They only exist in the V2 Upgrade kit.

But if your roboteers look at the drawing, you’ll see that two of them go face to face. My roboteers took the 3 pin ones, rotated them so there were pins on all surfaces and then used that. Seems to be working fine so far.

Likewise there are also 3x parts that you may not have. Just use some engineering on how to use an alternate part.

Welcome to the VEX forum.

One competition kit is enough for swish with a little extra for spare parts.

Hi, welcome to the forum.

There are lots of teams that have been competing for years and don’t have the V2 kits. Lots of them don’t see the need to buy a $400 V2 kits to get access to $2 worth of parts.
