My team is considering switching to tank. If we do switch to tank, I was wondering if there were any ways for us to prepare for next season without the robot. Is there any ways to for us to practice tank without having the robot available.
Do you mean tank as in tank treads on your robot or tank like this

I am referring to the way you drive your robot. It involves the use of both joysticks.

Yep, to practice just set the controller configuration to tank (one joystick moves one side of the drive and same for the other). It is the same as a lot of riding mowers. It is a bit harder to get an accurate variable speed. Good luck.

From my expierience tank works best and I would seriously considering doing that.
If you have access to vex parts, brain, controller, and motors you could build a small bot and make an obstacle course out of cones and just practice driving as fast and as accurate as you can, that would be my recommendation good luck.
