Tables/Chairs in Pit

In this FAQ thread, World Championship FAQs: Part Two - VRC > Previous Games - VEX Forum, a table and chairs were listed among the contents of each team’s pit:

Q: What will be present in each team’s pit?
A: Teams will be provided with a 10′ × 10′ pit that will have a 6 foot table, 2 chairs, electricity, a trash can and a team sign. The pit will have 8 foot drape behind it and 3 foot drape along the side.

We were on the phone today with GES, and they said that no table or chairs would be provided. They also said that teams would have to pay for this option themselves. Is this correct?

Thanks for your message. I apologize that you received inaccurate information from GES. As stated in the World Championship FAQs, each team pit will be provided with a table and two chairs.

I will follow-up with GES to ensure that the customer service agents answering the 800 number have accurate information.
