On my robot I am having issues with my tank tread intake. The intake has 5 lengths of tank tread side by side to pick up 3 balls side by side. The problem is it won’t pick the balls up. Has anyone else been having this problem? And can anyone help with this?
There are lots of things that could be going wrong. Can you post some pictures or a movie?

With an intake like this you need to squeeze and direct the game pieces at the same time. It’s kind of hard to tell exactly what’s going wrong right now. Your flappers may not be getting enough contact with the game pieces when they first touch them. Or it could be that there is not enough room behind the intake for the game pieces to fit through. Or both. The flappers may be too far apart too.
Getting the game pieces to move up a vertical intake is going to be challenging. You will probably need another set of treads and flappers on the back side of the intake. Take a look at this video of a robot from last year that had a similar intake. Note that there are two sets of treads that squeeze and direct the blocks.
