Hi everyone,
We are at a competition and the event placed double sided tape under every three balls at the base of the pyramids to keep the them in place. Is this legal? Thanks from the 901 teams.

My guess would be no that’s not legal because it messes with the field and the balls.
They would stay better if you just used nails.
Also, are competition switches mandatory for skills challenges? We were told to unplug from the tower and connect freely with the joystick.
Yes they are. My brother asked this in a Q&A.
Just to clarify. Skills fields do not have to be operated via a computer. It can be as simple as a person holding a competition switch and a timer, manually starting and stopping the robot by enabling and disabling with the competition switch.
Yea that’s how must competitions that I have been at run the skills fields.
