I see there have been multiple changes since the last time we saw you guys! I would ask how they worked out, but I imagine everyone that attended the North Texas Regional already knows.:stuck_out_tongue:

Any more plans for Worlds or is this the finalized robot? I know a few teams are attempting launchers. Will we see any tossing from this robot?

Regardless, the robot looks VERY impressive and will be a strong force in Anaheim come April.

Best of Luck!

Nice robot!

It might be just a shadow or something, but is there something in the bottom linear slide rails?

Looks like black surgical tubing for an elastic assist to me

This robot is a beast, and very well driven as well. It dominated the very first tournament it went to and has only gotten better since. As I recall the Dallas Regional was only the second competition for this robot and nobody could overtake it on the field.

The changes did work out very well and we love the new design because of the increased speed.

We have been looking into a launcher but we think that we won’t use it this year. This is due to weight vs. speed issues we have encountered before. But this robot is fairly close to it’s final form.

Best of luck to you all:) And good job at the south Texas regionals

I’d also love to see the match between you and the disco bots, seems like it would be a blood bath.

1/3 of the Disco/Pastoral/GonBotz were, however the other two had a robot tipped over, so those weren’t very good. Theese were the toughest matches we had played all day.

Looks great by the way, Glad to see you at worlds!

They were EXTREMELY intense matches. We were very nervous to have to fight Disco-Zeta, Pastoral, and the GonBotz.

Although there were malfunctions and the final match ended up 1v2, the first two were insane and were won by a matter of seconds. That alliance gave us our only defeat of the entire day.

We have actually recorded almost every elimination match since the 2nd Galveston Competition back in late January and we’ll probably end up posting them at the end of the season.

Looks like a great competition robot!! Best of luck at Worlds

Some video footage will also be available tomorrow of one of the semifinal matches against austin cans and one finals match against the omni eagles.

P.S. Pardon the jerkiness for it was taken from a phone.

Is there any hope of hanging?

This robot has an extremely reliable high-hang with a ball.

For those that lack the patience to wait until tomorrow:

Probably should have slept more the day before, my driving started to really suffer by eliminations…](http://youtu.be/rTf7N_CBE48)

Post match 2, that reach around capping was awesome!

I will post finals match 2 since that is the only match left un-taped

Thanks also to 9090c for being our alliance, since the semi finals would have been tough other wise.

Here is the 2nd finals match: http://youtu.be/uSiE3uAM4JY
