I will be en route to Dallas tomorrow, but feel free to ask any questions and I will answer if I have internet access.

You guys had an amazing machine at the competiton. Too bad you had to run into the 1114a alliance. Yours was a fast scoring bot.

Hey 418,

Our alliance rocked out there! Will be seeing you guys next year.

Wait a minute…418, 254B, and 508 beat 2921, 1114a, and 148B in 3 matches - the results online are mistaken (SF 2-1 is actually SF 1-3, so Alliance #5 moved on to Tech finals).

That’s right. In the first match 2921 pinned us for 2:15 and was disqualified, so the score online of 44-17 actually turned out to a 17-0.

We lost to the number 2 alliance due to problems with our bot and 508 each in a different match. I would have liked to see the matches played out with two robots.

First off to 508 and 418 i think we had a really incredible alliance and was honored to be on a team with you guys. At Dallas our final rounds were intense but handled with the greatest care. My favorite moment was perhaps righting 418’s robot in the second match of our semi’s. Congrats on how far we all made it. I hope you will consider attending the tournament 254 will be holding over the summer. Good luck next year to those continuing VRC and for those of you going off to college i hope to see you in the college challenge. Have a great off season!

Very nicely said!

-Cody

I agree about that being the best moment in the tournament. I still can’t believe that actually worked.

When is the summer thing? There’s a possibility of making it down there but we need to know the date.

Unfortunately at this time the actual date cannot be specified. However, we will have a date out no later than May 20th. My personal estimation is that it will be held near the end of June, which would put the probable date around the 26th or 27th of June. We will get the date out as soon as possible but we still do need to hear when some teams are available and see how much interest we get. Even if you are remotely interested in attending please inform us by posting on the NorCal Robotics Invitational thread. Please spread the word!
