The intake transmission? Or how it removes itself from between the autoloader and skyrise base? That is one thing I see no way for this robot to do.
here you go: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eQTYYByE_VM
Well. That’ll do it.
Neither. There is more to this robot that has not been revealed.
Simply put: that is Amazing.
The Auton is awesome, however I wonder how it will cope on the competition fields at worlds if the conditions are not perfect.
It took me a while to realize the brake doubled as a kickstand that you teased on your other thread, which it a genius idea.
Can’t wait to see this at the event.
Yeah the 7 skyrise auton is pushing the robot pretty hard, if the fields vary a lot i might have problems with it, however the 6 skyrise section auton works as a very reliable backup.
You could always try bending the c channel
How consistent has the seven skyrise one been?
Do you think running your seven section section autonomous would create problems, perhaps if you went with a robot that couldn’t score two cubes or any on seven sections high? If you’re filling up the skyrise yourself then I’m sure you’ll build to 7 and fill it with cubes. It depends on the match and the specific strategy you take.
I believe it comes down to, whether you’re solely working on filling the skyrise or whether your partner is helping…
An important aspect of our robot is to be able to score 3 cubes on 7 skyrises. This is so we waste no time during skills runs. We accomplish this with our rd46b. The 7 skyrise section auton’s reliability really depends on battery voltage, you have to get very well performing batteries ( > 8.7v) in order to get the robot to complete the auton within 15 seconds.
Let me say how very much impressed I am with what your team has accomplished in creating this robot! I look forward to seeing you guys compete!
So in spirit of the recently concluded March Madness,
Is this our Kentucky Wildcats?
Fabulous looking bot.
Your autonomous video is mesmerizing to watch… I’m not sure who is faster, you or your robot getting to that autoloader, AWESOME WORK!
So I guess OscarNVCC is saying Cameron is going to loose in the Semifinals? (just like the Kentucky Wildcats) LOL:p
I may sound cocky, but I would like to hope we get as far as Duke
Haha For me I would hope to be Georgia State or UAB at Worlds Lol.
I think you have the 4 pointer percentage pretty good lol (as in skyrise and blocks on skyrise)
I did not have time to read through but how does it get to the skyrise auto loader? It does’t seem to have a strafe wheel.
It has a kickstand that it starts on. It is just under 18 inches when it is deployed and it is in perfect position of the skyrise.
Correct me if i am wrong
Yup, if anyone wants more detail on the kickstand, i am more than happy to explain it.
How did you guys think of using the kickstand for this in the first place?
OYES, Master and Puppet
