Hi guys. My team and I are contemplating building a robot with a 6 motor base and a cap descorer and cap flipper. Unfortunately we haven’t been to any competitions(or ordered any parts yet for that matter) and were wondering approximately what percent of robots at your local competitions have ball shooting capabilities?
think… you really need to look through as many competitions videos on youtube (and other social media platforms) and get a sense of it for yourself.
and even then, it might not be representative of what you might encounter in your region.
It depends a lot on your region like Meng said. In Socal, maybe 2/3 of the robots have ball capabilities and 1/3 are fairly fast with them. In NZ, I think most robots are specializing in caps instead. Good luck!
