Team registration in multiple states

I have some questions:

  1. Are you allowed to register your robot in a state you don’t live in?

  2. If yes, can you compete with the same robot in multiple states and go to multiple states regional championship?

you register in the state you live and that determines the event region you compete in the US.

why these questions?

Concerns?

Yeah… I had that Idea last season, it is not possible to qualify in regions other than your own. I wish I figured that out sooner I qualified in Kentucky and Tennessee before I knew.

When you register, you specify a single mailing address that defines your Event Region. This should be a location that’s relevant to you: your school address, home of a team member, whatever.

You can only ever compete in one Event Region Championship, and that is the one for your region. YOu can’t register for any others, and you can’t qualify for them either.

what if some of my friends in another state needed our team members to sub in for them bc they couldn’t make it to any comps AND their robot was a hole count of ours

I would carefully read G4 rule of the Game Manual…
