Hey Guys,

What brand of tennis balls are used in the Bridge Battle Competition?

I’m not sure if brand really matters, as long as they are standard size and weight they should be fine. We got some off brand ones to use.

The manual only says it is a standard regulation tennis ball.

Correct

Only standard regulation tennis balls are used during the competition. I practice with Wilson tennis balls.

Ok, I was just wondering because I am big into tennis and balls can vary quite a bit. They can be 2 1/2 inches to 2 3/4 inches. Some textures and thickness of the skin is different, which affects the give or play of the ball.

Try to account for this variance with your design.

yes it’s like FTC, you must design with 1/4" variances in mind
