Thickness Of Star Connection

Hey guys,

I had a question about a piece of the star.

As we know, the star connects to the fence using a small U shaped hole on each side of the star.

I don’t have my star yet and I was just wandering if some body could tell me how wide that spot is.

Here is a picture of what I mean: (it was the only one I could find :confused: )

1.26in so says the official field specs. I couldn’t actually find anything on the stars itself, but the fence that it’s resting on is that thick. So the star may be 1.25in just to keep it on the fence better.

Checking the CAD of the stars, the opening is 30mm wide. The fence poles are 32mm.
