What are your thoughts on no more blened sigs and just MS and HS only sigs. As a MS team, I still think being able to play top level HS teams is a good idea. And I am curious just why they decided to remove the blended Sigs.
If your team is that good as a middle school team that you feel you will grow playing with HS teams, then play up as HS team for the season.
Personally, I think it is a good idea to split by grade level when there is critical mass of teams. It seems there is sufficient number of MS teams playing the Signature Event circuit that it is time for it. Ditto for Event Region Championships, which must be single grade events (exception for regions with only 1 world spot for each grade level may be blended or split).

As far as I’ve seen, VEX has chosen to remove blended sigs because sigs are supposed to be like a Worlds level event, like World class, and Worlds isn’t blended. I saw that on a vex website somewhere.

Some MS teams are really good but also HS teams can be no match for them and take them out of the league most times but also that can help MS teams be better also it’s a world qualifying thing and like worlds or state it’s your own division so it makes since there are still some blended normal comps you can go to and compare
