I’ve read the manual in and out but there seems to be NO absolute thing on possesion other than the ‘no-limit’ part and how that may change due to the exploitation of objects later on, but would there be a time limit to this? Just wondering for those of you that have insights on it or insider info
just to let you know, if someone posted insider information, it would be removed by a moderator pretty quickly.
Im pretty sure that they will just add a limit for opponents blocks. It would be too hard to have a time limit.
I’d guess that only the GDC has insights or insider info.
I can only offer raw supposition with a dash of hyperbole.
A reminder if it’s not in the rules that you can’t, then you can.
In theory you can hold the blocks the entire game and not score them.
Parking would give you 8 to 30 points.
Assuming that you can gather all of the blocks and hold them, you would play to a 30-30 tie since everyone will park.
So you do need to score at least 1 point to win. Scoring a single block give you 3 points. So the correct answer is “You can hold blocks up until the time you score a single block” but that is the best case. If you get paired with a robot that can’t park with you, you need to make up the 22 point difference. Plus at least another point. So all in all you need 23 points.
How long does that take is the max time you can hold the blocks and win.
There is no time limit. Too hard to enforce.
Oh my gods! I worded insider info so wrong, aughhh, i meant as in information that they heard from someone or like saw on the forums somewhere
But thank you!
A possession limit would be very difficult to enforce as well, unless it was low.
Right on point
