In VEX’s official guide for pneumatics, they display this picture with a solenoid per piston. Will using only one solenoid and then T’ing the output to two pistons instead make any difference for the power, number of strokes, etc.?
If you are wondering the context, we are making a pneumatic claw.
The only thing I can think of is that it will cause the solenoid to be farther from the pistons, so the percentage of air it takes will be A) used to fill tubing, B) used for two pistons so they wont hit as hard.
We run ours isolated from each other, each has their own tank and solenoid.
