Historically I have been running TM as a medium tournament with one field set and two fields. Used a single field display that both fields can see and have the TM software switch display depending on which field is active. The new version of TM does not seem to support this setup. Had a very large tournament this weekend and had to change it to small tournament and use one field for each division. This was very disruptive and cause the tournament to run much longer than planned. The TM software now makes me choose a field to assign the display to where before it just used what TM displayed based on which field was in use. This impacted both IQ and V5. Does anyone know a solution?
Use an audience display, not a field display.
Field displays, as I have used them for almost a decade, are always attached to a particular field, not for the whole field set. Or are you running multiple displays on the same computer?
Audience displays follow field sets. Did you make each field it’s own set.
You also said “divisions” in your post, can you clarify what that means please

Since there is only one display, I am not sure what “switch display depending on which field is active” actually means.
I run three VRC completion fields, each has a Field Display connected to a Raspberry Pi and a SmartField Controller. All three fields are in one Field Set.
