As a coach and mentor I want to address my team here so that others can chime in to their own teams.
There has been lots of negative stuff going on in the world and sometimes in robotics with others tanking and unsportsmanlike conduct. I want to take a stand here… now…
You are about to embark on a journey that has the potential to change your life. You are about to walk into VEX Worlds and meet over 600 teams from over 35 countries. Our bubble we live in is small. That bubble will burst in Louisville and expose you to new cultures, ideas, and things that can make you look at your future in a very different and positive way.
I want you guys and gals to know that I love you all and I am so happy that we get to make this journey. Go in with your heads high, enjoy the moment, take pride in the fact that you made it to the best of the best, be a family, take care of each other, and make memories that nobody can ever take away. Leave your best in ring… don’t hold anything back!
