Another very simple, inexpensive but extremely useful VEX part would be a single-pole single throw (SPST) toggle switch. Instead of trying to fit those tiny jumpers into the correct digital or interrupt port (I always need a flashlight and usually get it wrong), you would permanently attach the toggle switch to an accessible spot on the robot and plug the attached cable into the correct port on the microprocessor (ONE TIME), and then throw the switch to enable or disable the port. What an improvement.
You could probably wire up a switch yourself without too much work, what would you need a switch for? I know I don’t plug and unplug things that often anyways.
i used on of htem once, they work very well and are easy to change.
A switch would be a good idea. I use a jumper to switch modes on my robot and I, too, usualy get it in the wrong port.
the jumpers should have the slot thing that the actual plugs for teh motors or sensors do
