My team is building a tray bot and I’m not sure how the hinge between the two stages of the tray should be built. If anyone has pictures of theirs they are willing to share that would be great.

I wouldn’t suggest doing this, but we used two hinges:
Most teams use screw joints with nylocks

This is the hinge that our bot used and it worked great highly recommend it, we based the hinge highly off of a reveal / documentary done by 5090A shown here:
