I was thinking about how cumbersome a three stage tray could be for a robot to drive around with, which made me realize that a traybot can actually double as a wallbot if it flattens it’s tray. Do you think this is a viable strategy?

if you can tilt your tray all the way back it could be good.

Yeah but make sure your tray is super durable and attached to the rest of the bot very securely or another robot may accidentally take it off of it got entangled while trying to push past the tray.
