I’ve noticed that all of the good traybots have smaller drive bases so that they can score in the protected zone more easily. What dimensions do you guys have for your drive chassis?
We have 30x35 to give room for our intake, we are considering switching to a smaller drive base later.
I haven’t personally finished building a robot so our drivebase is subject to change, but I know Goofy uses a 27x30. Here’s the link to the Goofy Reveal.
15 inch by 12 inch

my drive is 26 holes wide 30 holes long. I think that thinner is better for quick stack placement.
mine is 30x30, but pretty sure you need to be around 25 wide to be able to stack in the protected goal zone from the side.
we use to have a 22 hole base but then went with 25 to fit in tracker wheels
30X30 and it’s kinda a pain to stack in the protected zone
25x25 base is what we run
ours is like 25x25 but we’re by no means good
12.5 x 12.5 inch base, but the from sticks out another 2.5 inches
