Triballs or Acorns

Whats a better name in your opinion. I’m curious on what people think.

I honestly don’t have a preference. That is, as long as it’s not called a Rouleaux Tetrahedron (I don’t think the emcees would have a fun time saying this every match whenever a team’s robot has one in their possession). Although that would be kind of silly in my opinion!

I much prefer to refer to them as spheroforms of tetrahedral symmetry.

Triball is such a good name. Their only disadvantage is that they always get auto-corrected into “tribal”.

Yes, it’s completely ridiculous for emcees to call them Rouleaux Tetrahedrons. I agree with @VexThirteen that it would make much more sense to call them Spheroforms of Tetrahedral Symmetry

But isn’t that also silly for the emcees to say? How about just “spheroforms”? Although it sounds cool in general…the emcees…

Still think dumpling is the most apt…

Spheroforms of Tetrahedral Symmetry can be the technical term.

Ehh I think I’m just gonna call it tetrahedral puffs.

One of my students pronounced it “tribbles” and with the sheer number of them in a match, I thought field resetter would regularly be able to recreate pictures from the famous episode of Star Trek “The Trouble with Tribbles”

Part of me wants to call them “dumplingballs” for absolutely no reason!

Okay, yeah that’s a bit better for the emcees in my opinion.

But seriously it looks like one of the seeds that you would find in a video game in order to pass a puzzle,
