Trouble Climbing Platform with V5

Our team just got the V5 motors finally yesterday and we were super excited to try them. However, we found that our robot couldn’t climb up to the center platform. It’s like the wheels just don’t turn once it hits the platform base. The robot’s chassis is 4 omni wheels with high traction wheels for middle wheels, so 6 wheels in total. We put two V5 motors on the back omni wheels and connected the wheels with sprockets.

We’ve seen other robots with similar design that can climb up successfully, so I’m curious to hear if anyone had trouble with the platforms. Could it be the weight of the robot, or placement of the motors that causing the robot to not climb up? Any tips or suggestions would be super helpful!

I believe it would be very difficult to develop a solution without a clear picture of what your robot looks like. There’s major factors that can be involved such as center of gravity (Assumption because you have wheels in the middle of your robot), friction, lacking of torque, etc.
It would be very appreciated to post some pictures so we can get an understanding of what we need to help with.
