I have been trying to update the various sensors and motors prior to a robotics camp this week. The motors and some of the sensors update fine but the color and touch sensors do not. I’ve tried using different sensors to see if maybe the sensor was bad and have tried 2 different brains all with the same results. VEXos 2.0.2. Any ideas what I’m doing wrong?
Try the old trick of leaving everything unplugged except for the problem sensor which should be in Port 1, all other ports empty. Then try the update again.
Thanks. I tired that and it didn’t work. Was having a problem with all sensors. Only the brain, motors, and controller would update. I ended up re-installing the updater choosing the repair option. When I ran it afterwards everything updated. Figured I’d post my solution here in case anyone else ran in to similar problems.
