Turntables and the claw

Is there a way that I can use the turntable bearing kit to make the claw from the ClawBot rotate? I need a response ASAP; the project that we are doing in my robotics class is due in a week!

If you screw the claw or arm onto the turntable and power the turntable with a motor and a small 12-tooth gear that should allow you to make the claw rotate.
