No, you’re not allowed to use two microcontrollers:

If you want to use 10 motors, you could use the Y cables, but some of the motors would be “tethered” to each other. You could also trade in your current microcontroller/reciever for a Cortex - it has 10 motor ports.
If you don’t need to control all 10 motors simultaneously, you can use the additional Buttons to change Operational Modes, to control the various motors separately.
