Unable to connect brain to Dell Chromebook

I am unable to get a slew of student Dell Chromebooks to show the brain on Vexcode IQ. I’ve tried multiple USB cords, but nothing seems to work. We are using Dell 3180 and Dell 3100 2 in 1 Chromebooks. Anything advice would be great in case we have to go remote again in our district.

check you have the very latest version of VEXcode IQ installed, there was a recent problem with Chrome that may have disabled it.

Problem downloading code from Chromebooks using VEX Code Blocks

My class uses VEX IQ robots and code with VEX Code Blocks on Chromebooks. We have been able to download our codes with no problems until today. Every student had the following problem today: they had a code they wanted to download to the robot but the download button would not allow them to click so they could not download. It didn’t matter which Chromebook, which code, which cable, etc. Thoughts? Ideas? Suggestions?

If you are still experiencing issues, please submit feedback within VEXcode IQ from a device that is having the issue and reference this thread so we can take a look at the logs.
