Unable to send program to robot brain (ROBOTC)

Message when trying to send the program to the robot brain reads:

Failed to verify that the serial link is connected to the Robot Controller.

ROBOTC firmware is not installed or corrupted. It needs to be downloaded.

I verified that ROBOTC is up to date.
The brain is connected to the computer. I am able to update VEX IQ FIrmware with no problems.

Any ideas on what I should try now?

You may already know this and have done it, but just incase…

Robot C has it’s own firmware that needs to be installed on the brain, in addition to the VEX IQ Firmware. It is installed from Robot C via menu: Robot -> Download Firmware -> Standard File . Usually there is also “Firmware Download” icon on the toolbar, but that is configurable, so you might not see it.
