Unknown Pneumatic Part?

Hi I was wondering if someone could tell me what these parts are for? (Picture attached) They came with my single action pneumatic kit and I couldn’t find any documentation for it. I checked the instruction sheet on the pneumatic part page and there was nothing on it. What do they do exactly and are they needed?

Thanks for taking the time to provide us with a picture, it is very helpful.
It looks like a mounting rod & clips for the cylinder, see attached pictures.
