No it would not. You need to be hanging at the end of the match in order to receive points for hangs in matches.
I do have a question of my own though: If I were to hang in Auto, could I receive points that count toward winning the auto bonus?
It would only give points if you stay hanging for the duration of the match, which I think is a no to most teams (unless you have some sort of convection intake)
I think you misunderstood the question. The question is will those hanging points count toward winning the autonomous bonus. To which the answer is: we don’t know yet. There is an official Q&A asking exactly that. My assumption is that it will count, as it has in the past (Toss-up)
