Update V1 Firmware

I have a V1 brain & motor (been on a shelf for a while). When I turn it on, it says the motor needs updated.

Is it still possible to download the VEXos utility? I can not find it anywhere.

Opening VEXcode says the brain is up to date. (VEXos v2.2.1)

Levi,

I think I looked at this page 50 times last night, and also the page the link goes to, but didn’t see the link on the second page.

I’m going to try to connect another device to the brain via I2C, like James did many years ago. I’ll let you know how it works.

Due to this, we went through yesterday and updated every single motor, and also checked controllers. Not getting caught with that happening again at a competition…

I’m 1/4 the way through my 53 teams, controllers, motors, brains.

Pro tip, buy notebook reinforcing rings, and mark the electronics that are done, so when the roboteers mix motors around in the spare motor box you don’t have to redo them.
