As a team we wanted to start media channels with recordings from our matches. Are we allowed to use the official VEX livestreams for our video source? (e.g. Edit them for snippets of our matches). The event in question is the VRC UK nationals.

I assume VEX/RECF in the UK are the copyright holders of the livestream (at least without audio — there was other copyrighted music playing). I would recommend having your team’s primary contact email emeasupport [at] roboticseducation [dot] org.
That said other teams and people have clipped livestreams and uploaded them to YouTube, including from previous UK nationals.
