As mentioned on the VEX produce site, rubber bands and zip ties can be very useful in robot construction.
The kits include “rubber band anchors” but there are no rubber bands in the kits or on the web site. Can rubber bands such as the #32 size sold on the VEX web site be used!?
Zip ties are very useful in controlling wires. Can zip ties such as those on the VEX web site be used?
Rubber Bands are now an official part of the VEX IQ Product line (http://www.vexrobotics.com/vexiq/products/275-1089.html), thus they are legal for use in the VEX IQ Challenge. Zip Ties are not a part of the product line, thus they are not legal.
