Our team’s rubber bands kept getting ripped. So we decided to tie those ripped rubber bands together and use it. Is that legal in Vex World Championship?
That could be something to ask in the RobotEvents QnA, but with what I heard from @Entropy last year, he was able to get them into his robot with saying that they were just “very frayed” rubber bands. Thanks!

I would say that you should be able to use tied rubber bands. I’ve seen many teams this year that have gotten tied bands through inspection. If you are really worried though, I would recommend using bigger-sized bands. Remember, bands can be #32, #64, or even #117b
Some more clarification, we simply tied them into a tight spot and when they snapped we clarified that it would provide no material change to robot performance if we had to replace them, therefore the tear did not effect performance, akin to how a rubber band snapping on an intake roller or something will not get you disqualified as it was not intentional.
