V5 Controller Issue

LCD screen on students V5 controller will not “turn on”. When plugged in to the computer the cable ports are blinking red every couple of seconds, but the screen will not illuminate. Tried holding the rest button, but the screen still remains “off”. Any suggestions to get this controller operational, or is this a product issue that needs to be addressed by customer support? I should also mention this is a brand new controller.

Before you call support reset the controller to see if that helps. If you don’t know how to do that it’s very simple just take anything thin and find the hole on the back of the controller that’s close to the center and gently push with the thin object. Also, have you tried charging the controller?

Video or pictures would probably be helpful for troubleshooting your issue. Consider posting some of those.

I tried resetting the controller before posting. Controller has been charging for over 24 hours.

It wont let me upload a video, but I am attaching a picture showing the problem.

Have you tried hitting the hidden reset button on the back with a screwdriver or something?

You have to hold it for a few seconds typically

Yes, I have tried the reset. Pushed it in and held down for several seconds.

I would prefer to call support if all of our suggestions don’t work.

Have you tried plugging it into a wall charger?

I have also tried plugging into a wall charger.
