It doesn’t look like it. There is really no reason to either, considering the three wire ports work for things like switches.

It says they plan on adding these sensors:

  • LiDAR
  • 3-Axis Gyro + 3-Axis Accelerometer
  • 3-Wire Expander
  • Rotation Sensor

Yes. That is the old limit switch.

They’re probably not making another limit switch. We still can dream though, right?

They might change the appearance in classroom/competition kits to have a slightly different design, but they still don’t connect with the Smart Ports.

If you want a switch that’s harder to break, there’s the bumper switch.
