At a competition Saturday, one of our v5 motors died before our last match. We noticed the red port light wasnt on. We switched the wires and checked connections and still no power. We switched out the motor and the new motor works. It seems like the motor is just dead. Anyone had this issue before? Any way to fix?
It is most likely the port on the motor that is damaged. Unfortunately, there isn’t really an easy fix for this.
I think the only way to fix this is swapping the motor. I don’t think there is any way to fix this unless Vex gives you a replacement or you do some tinkering inside the motor.
