This is a kinda weird question but are you allowed to have extra motors on your robot that aren’t plugged in? They would be completely non-functional and just be sitting there unplugged, not even used for weight distribution or anything like that.
This will not be legal, but you can 3D print a V5 motor and use it for decorational use.

I have access to a really cool thing that I’ve not posted.
To help the transition from 393 → V5 motors, two Brandywine High teams made me shells that slip over the 393 motors. They are replicas down to the little “vent” embossing on the sides.
Very cool. PM me and I’ll get you the CAD file and you can print your own.
