My team just got the new v5 pneumatics kit and set it up exactly like the example in the link at the bottom of this post. The cylinder extends and retracts as expected when using the small orange buttons on the solenoid, but when plugged into a port on the brain it extends the cylinder and begins releasing all the air out of the exhaust ports. This is before any program has been run. Does anyone know how to fix this issue?
Just checked the second solenoid, and the issue isn’t present, so we think we have a faulty solenoid.

You might’ve just had a loose fitting or tubing not fully inserted.
