V5 vcs modkit programming help

Hey, guys quick/not so quick question. I have been trying to fiddle with a vision sensor and have looked at the sample programs and had some luck with them. Even though I had something to base my program off of it has been tough so switched from Vex C++ to modkit hoping I can understand the principles on a basic level so I can take it to translate it to the higher level of coding. But after trying to play around with modkit I am stuck. I am trying to make our testing robot move to try and detect a color signature and if it can’t find it to look right then left to try and find it. And one it finds it to then drive forward. I left a picture of my code and can leave the program itself if anyone needs to test something on it. Thank you for any help in advance.
