V5RC High Stakes: Problem with the field CAD model

Hi VEX official,

I downloaded the V5RC 2024-25 High Stakes field CAD and imported the STEP file to Fusion 360 today. It seems like the CAD file contains spikes. This is the updated version. The previous version of the CAD file I downloaded in May 2024 doesn’t have spikes. Maybe that’s my problem. Please let me know how I should open the file correctly.

In addition, please make sure the CAD files for the upcoming season do not have the same issue. Thank you~

I get the same issue in Fusion. The 3DConnexion viewer failes to render the part, so that points to it being a problem with the file rather than with Fusion. I downloaded the file from here VRC (2024-25) Full Game & Field Element Kit - VEX Robotics and the STEP file in the zip is dated September 19th 2024.
